Ebb and Flow Family Counseling
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California providing online therapy for individuals, couples, and families. I specialize in grief and loss—especially pet loss—along with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, parenting stress, and life transitions. My practice is grounded in creating a warm, supportive space where clients feel understood, emotionally safe, and able to work through difficult experiences at their own pace.
I work best with clients who feel overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or disconnected and are seeking meaningful change. Many of my clients are high-functioning but struggling internally with anxiety, sadness, grief, or relationship strain. I frequently support individuals navigating pet loss grief, anticipatory grief, and complicated emotional responses to loss. I also work with parents, couples, and caregivers experiencing stress, communication breakdowns, or major life transitions that impact emotional balance and connection.
Clients often come to me when their usual coping strategies are no longer working, or when they are seeking a deeper understanding of their emotions and relationships.
use an integrative, evidence-based approach tailored to each client’s needs. My work draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-based therapy, mindfulness practices, DBT-informed skills, and psychodynamic insight-oriented therapy.
In therapy, we work together to identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build emotional regulation skills, and develop healthier ways of coping with stress and relationships. I also help clients process grief in a compassionate, structured way that honors the depth of their attachment and loss.
Therapy with me is collaborative, warm, and nonjudgmental. I aim to create a space where you can speak openly about what feels heavy without fear of judgment or minimization. Sessions are paced based on your comfort level and emotional readiness.
Together, we focus on both understanding your emotional experience and building practical tools to support your daily life. Over time, clients often report feeling more grounded, emotionally aware, and better able to manage stress, grief, and relationship challenges.
Clients often gain:
Greater emotional clarity and self-understanding
Reduced anxiety and depressive symptoms
Healthier coping strategies
Improved communication and relationships
A stronger sense of stability and resilience during grief and life transitions
My goal is to support you in feeling less alone in what you are carrying and more empowered in how you move forward
